She tells him to send her the dates and she would check her calendar。 Things go well for them until while out for dinner they see a co-worker of Gwen's and she introduced him as a business associate。 This upset Blake but he doesn't say anything。 Things change between them after this。 Blake is leaving in a few days and Gwen has just found out that she is going to have to go to Alaska to take over for the producer。 She asked Blake if he wanted to go with her? He tells her yes。 Things go fine for them until an upper-level exec comes and demands most of Gwen's time。 Blake is on a tour, and he ends up getting hurt。 He sends a text to Gwen but doesn't hear back from her。 He leaves the hospital and goes back to his hotel room。 Gwen had been given a re-write to do and she turned her phone off and did not look at it until nine 0 'clock that night。 Blake is leaving in two days and the next day when they talk, he tells her that he doesn't think that she is wanting to work things out and that for the rest of his time there he wants to be alone。 Gwen has a lot of things to figure out about herself and what she wants。 Susan is the first one who gets her to talk about things。 Gwen has avoided her friend's calls and after her talk with Susan, she calls them and tells them what is going on。 Her friends Sam, Penelope, and Autumn are all there for her and she calls each one of them each day to talk things over with。 It has been two weeks since Blake left and he has not spoken about Gwen to anyone。 His mother, Kitt comes to see him and tells him is time is up。 She has a talk with him and he seems to feel better after。 Gwen and Susan have another talk and Susan has given Gwen some ideas about what she can do work-wise。 Gwen likes scriptwriting and after talking with Susan, she goes and has a talk with Mr。 Donovan。 He tells her that he has been waiting over a year for her to come and talk to him about it。 Blake is out in the barn thinking about Gwen when he hears her voice。 He looks up and sees her standing in the doorway。 She goes up and pulls a bucket to her and sits down。 She starts talking and tells him that there are some things that she needs to tell him and she is ready to do just that。 Will things work out for Gwen and Blake after their talk? Will Gwen leave California for Colorado? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend this book to anyone。I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

Sweet and Clean Cowboy RomanceThis book is part of the Riverside Ranch series。 The book is set against three backgrounds; the Riverside Ranch in Colorado, Los Angeles, and Juneau Alaska。 This is a sweet and clean romance that leaves everything to the reader's imagination。 The story involves deciding what is most important in your life and how to manage old baggage to live in the now。 The author does a fine job of word-painting the natural scenes in both Colorado and Alaska。 She also depicts the Sweet and Clean Cowboy RomanceThis book is part of the Riverside Ranch series。 The book is set against three backgrounds; the Riverside Ranch in Colorado, Los Angeles, and Juneau Alaska。 This is a sweet and clean romance that leaves everything to the reader's imagination。 The story involves deciding what is most important in your life and how to manage old baggage to live in the now。 The author does a fine job of word-painting the natural scenes in both Colorado and Alaska。 She also depicts the Los Angeles congestion and lifestyle vividly。 This is a heart-warming series that will leave the reader with a smile。 I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

I love Sophie's writing, the way she writes draws the reader into the story right from the very beginning。 All the characters and the plot feels so real, you feel that you are there in the story too。When I received this ARC from Booksprout, I thought that I had read this story before。 Having checked my books I had indeed read it。 I contacted the author who kindly wrote back explaining that she has updated the first one I read last year, and mention that I could skip the first part。。but of course I love Sophie's writing, the way she writes draws the reader into the story right from the very beginning。 All the characters and the plot feels so real, you feel that you are there in the story too。When I received this ARC from Booksprout, I thought that I had read this story before。 Having checked my books I had indeed read it。 I contacted the author who kindly wrote back explaining that she has updated the first one I read last year, and mention that I could skip the first part。。but of course, I didn't and carried on, I love the new heroine's name。 Gwen has a much better flow with Blake and there are two extra parts。Wow, I am so glad she did, this edition is so much better than the first。 I'm such a fan of Sophie Mays writing that I want her books to find as many readers as possible。Such endearing characters and a great story kept me entertained and engaged from beginning to end。 I loved it。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

This book was a totally enjoyable and entertaining read with a great plot that was well planned and characters that were so well developed that I remained totally engaged as the pages were turned until the very end!
MaryEllen,
The characters were really well crafted, with complex backstories that were reflected in their actions and reactions。 They were surrounded by loyal friends and family that seemed equally complex。 I love that the characters aren't too afraid to discuss the hard stuff。 I can't wait to read more of this series!
